Event Details
Since 2007, the Children's Ball has raised nearly $54 million to support children and families. Funds raised benefit patients at Children's National Hospital through the Fund for Every Child. The fund allows us to tailor everything we do to meet the needs of our patients and families. It advances promising research into new treatments and cures for childhood's most challenging conditions. Kids are our everything.

Donor Advised Funds (DAF) and Private Family Foundations
The Internal Revenue Service places specific restrictions on gifts made to charitable organizations via Donor Advised Funds (DAF) or private family foundations. Event tickets or sponsorships paid through a DAF or private family foundations are not allowed. However, fully tax-deductible donations (no seating/attendance at the gala provided) are allowed via a DAF or private family foundations.
