Nursing Program Recognized for Excellence
Children's National has once again been recognized for nursing excellence by receiving Magnet® status from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Magnet status is one of the highest levels of recognition for nursing excellence that a health system can achieve. “This redesignation is a true testament to our teamwork, dedication, and commitment to the provision of world-class care with exceptional outcomes,” said Linda Talley, vice president and chief nursing officer.
Only 7 percent of hospitals across the country have achieved Magnet status. Of those hospitals, even a smaller percentage are pediatric hospitals, putting Children's National among a very elite group of healthcare facilities nationwide.
