Miles, 6

 

Miles loves drawing, watching football and playing soccer. As high risk for developing asthma, he joined our research study to stay healthy and help other kids in the future. He looks forward to opening presents, decorating the tree and relaxing symptom free over winter break.

 

Sofia, 11

 

Sofia has been in and out of the hospital since she was a baby for complex care. Still, she smiles even on her hardest days. She wants to be a nurse or doctor to help kids like herself. Over the holidays, Sofia enjoys music with her family and eats grapes for good luck in the new year.

 

Morgan, 4

 

Morgan loves watching Frozen, riding her bike and playing outside. She was born deaf, but cochlear implants and world-class care opened a world of possibilities. She heard her dads say  “I love you” right before her first Christmas.

 

Sumukh, 10

 

Sumukh, known as the mayor of our oncology floor, brings joy to everyone, through hosting Mario Kart leagues in the hospital to Bollywood dancing. After six months of chemotherapy, he went home in time to visit family in India this winter.
