Why does EagleBank choose to support Children’s National and the Fund for Every Child?

 

At EagleBank, we put our relationships first and are committed to uplifting families and our community. Without them, we wouldn’t exist. 

 

As we continue to increase our footprint in the region, we want our community impact to increase with it. Every child should have access to high-quality healthcare, and we are proud to support Children’s National in creating opportunities for every family to receive the care they deserve. 

 

What motivates you personally to continue supporting Children’s National?

Family has always been the most important thing in my life, so in 2022, I decided to join the Children’s National Hospital Corporate Advisory Council. I am proud that EagleBank joined me during the past several years in supporting the hospital’s mission to improve the health and well-being of children and families, including through fundraising and participating in the Race for Every Child. 

It's incredibly rewarding to hear families’ gratitude for our support. Their hope and relief show us the brighter future we can create with support from our community. 

How does the Race for Every Child engage and inspire your team? 

Our team seeks to make positive changes in our community every day. By running and walking the Race for Every Child, our employees witness that desired change become a reality. As we cross the finish line and see the smiles on everyone’s faces, our community impact feels tangible and inspires us to keep giving back.

With EagleBank generously matching gifts for our holiday campaign, why do you believe giving back to the local community is especially important this time of year? 

The holidays can be a challenging time for many, and we want to make everyone at Children’s National feel the holiday spirit with love and support. We hope that our donations will make them feel hopeful and joyful this winter as they look to a healthier year ahead. 

What is the greatest lesson you learned from partnering with the hospital? 

When things get difficult, our community is there to support us, even in the most trying moments. This is a gift we should never take for granted.
