Give Thanks and Spread Hope This Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday is just a week away. Supporters won’t have to wait for their gift to Children’s National Hospital to be matched. Thanks to a generous partner, every dollar donated from November 22 through Giving Tuesday (November 29) doubles, up to a total of $40,000.

 

As Thanksgiving approaches, we’re especially thankful for our health care heroes and compassionate supporters who care for Children’s National patients and their families. 

 

Many kids will spend their holidays at Children’s National Hospital while they courageously battle illness and injury. Together, we can give them a reason to believe.

 

Thankfully, Wes (pictured), who stayed at Children’s National after a leukemia diagnosis, is home for the holiday season this year. He is an energetic 4-year-old who likes building complex Magna-Tiles structures. While in the hospital for leukemia treatment, he participates in art therapy and loves to play with his care team. Wes is excited to bake cinnamon rolls with his mom for the holidays.
